  • Collaborate with academic and professional staff, alumni, and employers to enhance the employability of our graduates

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of engaging career resources tailored to diverse student needs

  • Work as part of a cross-functional team to support student development and engagement initiatives across the University

What we're looking for includes the following:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. career development, human resources, creative arts, education, or training)

  • A minimum of one year's experience in careers work, graduate recruitment, or a related field

  • An understanding of, or willingness to grow in, Te Reo Māori, Tikanga Māori, and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • A student-centred mindset and a commitment to inclusive, strengths-based approaches

Why join us?

At Massey, we are proud to be a Tiriti-led University. We are committed to creating a positive, inclusive environment where diversity is valued and supported. Our team works together to create meaningful outcomes for students, and we welcome applications from individuals who identify as Tangata Whenua or Tangata Tiriti. If you are energised by the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of ākonga, particularly within creative and entrepreneurial spaces, we would love to hear from you.

The employment setting will involve work with people across the lifespan and applicants will be required to comply with the requirements of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014 and the Vulnerable Children (Requirements for Safety Checks of Children’s Workers) Regulations 2015.
