Starting salary: $56,812 - $61,837 negotiable + superannuation

The role | Te tūnga  

As a National Data Collection Specialist, you will work within our frontline teams, building relationships with the business and social communities of Aotearoa, and enabling data collection from all types of respondents through national collection channels (phone and email). This role is about providing a great user experience for respondents - one that builds trust, is seamless, convenient, safe and recognises their contribution to Aotearoa.  

This role is fixed term for 9 months and the team will be based in Auckland to help facilitate training and ongoing support; however, these are remote work from home roles, so a private workspace and reliable internet are essential. It is also important that we work at times that suit our survey respondents so this role will include rotational rosters covering evenings and weekends.

This role would suit someone who can bring:

  • Experience (2+ years) working in a customer service or similar field.

  • Demonstration of their strong customer focus, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

  • Digital/technical literacy skills, including capability to pick up new systems quickly.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to vary your approach to suit different audiences.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other teams, is self-motivated, and willingness to develop new skills  

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

  • Be able to work remotely, including having strong, reliable internet and a private workspace.
