This is a newly created role that will help deliver value added outcomes for the Financial Operations Team. You will be work across the various functions in the wider team and will support the Financial Operations Officers with their day-to-day tasks. This includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash & bank, reporting and internal audit & compliance.

You will be part of a high performing team assisting the Associate Director Financial Operations (including Procurement) to manage the day-to-day business processes and stakeholder engagement. Our team strive for high quality service delivery while assuming the role of kaitiaki of University funds.

Salary will be in the range of $82,795 to $94,691 per year based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus. Ko wai koe? – Who are you?

You will be an excellent communicator who has over 3 years’ experience to accompany your Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.  You will be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of financial operations within a large organisation.  Your attention to detail, flexibility, organisational and time management skills will enable you to deliver strong outcomes for stakeholders. Knowledge of the Oracle Cloud platform is preferred and advanced excel skills are essential to succeed in this role.

The purpose of the Finance & Analytics team, part of the Corporate Services Group within the portfolio of the Chief Operating Officer, is to provide best-in-class financial services, reporting and analytics to the University. The team is responsible for the provision of insightful performance reporting and measurement, as well as business intelligence and analytics. The team also manages the financial systems, financial data and financial policy and procedures ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial information to support better decision-making across the University.
