Otago Community Trust is a community-owned charitable trust that provides grants to assist community projects that make a significant and positive contribution to the inspiring and diverse communities that make up the Otago region.

 

Otago Community Trust is looking to expand its team in order to best engage with and serve our diverse communities.

 

We are now seeking another skilled and empathetic Grants Manager to join our grants team, working with communities in accessing our funding. In this vital role, you'll be a bridge between the Trust and the community organisations we aim to support. Your primary focus will be guiding and assisting community groups as they develop grant applications, and in evaluating applications to support effective decision-making.

We're looking for someone who can provide clear guidance and support to help communities articulate their needs and project ideas effectively. You'll work closely with diverse community leaders, offering workshops and one-on-one consultations.

Your expertise will be crucial in helping our diverse communities achieve their aspirations. You will have:

·        exceptional communication skills

·        a deep understanding of community development

·        ideally, a background in grant management

·        a genuine passion for empowering communities and the ability to build trust with a wide range of stakeholders.

This is a full-time position, based in Ōtepoti | Dunedin. Regular travel throughout the region is required, as is some flexibility in working hours.
