Position Overview
A fantastic opportunity to apply your relationship management, recruitment, and conversion skills by helping Massey University grow its international student recruitment initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Nurture prospective international students by providing guidance, advice, and program information.

  • Engage with student pipeline, supporting them through the application process from initial contact to enrolment.

  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and the International Mobility Team to expand and diversify Massey’s international student base.

  • Assist with new student recruitment initiatives and help meet the university’s globalisation goals.

  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government organisations and education partners.

  • A connector and collaborator who enjoys working with students and multi-tasking across multiple projects.

  • Proactive, energetic, and target-driven with a passion for international student recruitment.

  • Able to inspire confidence across diverse groups and cultures.


About the Office of Global Engagement (OGE):
OGE is Massey University’s gateway for international students, education agencies, and global partners. With over 5,000 international students from 110+ countries, OGE leads strategic advice and global engagement initiatives.


Location:

This non-travelling role is based at either our Auckland or Palmerston North campus.


Salary:

$67,184 - $95,514 (based on experience).


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of sales or student recruitment experience.

  • Education sector experience is preferred but not essential. Corporate experience is also valued.

  • Proven experience with international markets and working with students.
