Management Accountant - Wellington or Christchurch

We have an opportunity for an experienced customer focussed accounting professional to join our Finance team as a Management Accountant.
You’ll work with our Finance Business Partners, providing support when it comes to reporting, costing and financial modelling. You’ll also assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate and high-quality data which will help to inform key strategic and operational decisions.
In this role you will be involved in:
Delivering management accounting processes, including monthly reporting, monthly journals, annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for business units.
Reviewing transactional financial data, ensuring a high level of accuracy and providing the team with concise reporting.
Providing support to end users in the use of financial systems.
The finance team are based across Aotearoa and we are open to receiving applications from Pōneke or Ōtautahi.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or similar discipline.
Previous accounting experience with excellent numerical skills and modelling skills in MS Excel.
Strong communication skills, and an ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholder groups.
Knowledge of a Financial ERP system including budgeting and reporting tools.
A consultative team-based approach, where you are able to convey information both within a team environment, and cross functionally in the organisation.
Excellent organisational, multi-tasking, and time management skills
