Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting for two permanent, full-time Mata Ahupae - Hall Administrators to support our Halls of Residence. Working closely with the Hall management team and wider accommodation support services, this position plays a vital role in ensuring the Hall and Accommodation Service for our students runs smoothly.
Your day will involve assisting the Head of Hall in operational and financial management of the Hall, providing high quality, student-centred administrative services that support second to none experiences for residents.
One position supports a first year hall of residence, and one positions supports our Independent Living group which comes with an additional responsibility of pastoral care support for residents.

This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is a team player, customer-focused, well-organised, self-motivated, proactive, quick to learn, adaptable and passionate about helping people. You’ll need to have a strong system focus as well as being able to interact and assist our residents.
You will have:
Experience in working in a front line, customer focused environment.
Experience in invoicing, accounts and financial administration.
Experience working with young people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Proven experience working with finance and database systems.
Experience in managing a busy and diverse office environment.
Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
