Mō tō mātou Rōpū | About the team 

The Notifications and Enquiries Team (NET) simplifies the process for notifications and enquiries going through MNZ. The Team makes it easy to notify MNZ of incidents and ensures that responses to notifications and enquiries meet agreed standards and expectations with respect to quality, timeliness, efficiency, coverage and transparency. By promptly responding to enquiries the Team aims to improve MNZ's education and engagement efforts and deliver a better regulatory service to stakeholders. 

The N&E Function comprises two concepts:

  • A new Notifications and Enquiries Team (NET), which has recently been established and is progressively increasing its capability, capacity and the services and responses it undertakes.

  • A Central Notifications and Enquiries Function (CNEF), which provides a consistent and cohesive framework for MNZ's response to all notifications and enquiries, including those received directly by operational and specialist teams within the organisation.

Te tūnga | The role  

This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with the Manager NET to guide the teams work programme and contribute to the development and implementation of the team's strategy. You will provide key regulatory and operational advice for the team providing expert support for the more risky, complex, ambiguous or sensitive notifications and enquiries. You will enjoy building capability and take pride in growing high performing teams, creating opportunities, pathways and frameworks for continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Supporting the Manager in planning and monitoring the workflow of the team;

  • Lead the development of a programme practice materials, guidance and tools;

  • Lead the design amd oversight of reporting processes and service level requirements;

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives developing processes to capture issues and insights;

  • Develop strong connections across our organisation to continuously seek feedback to allow for continuous improvement setting the team up the team for success.

  • A strong track record of continuous improvement and building new processes, practice, and systems

  • Ability to network effectively in a consultative and collaborative

Salary range $136,555 - $166,900 depending on skills and experience + superannuation.
