The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
Be part of our team supporting up to 6 tangata whai ora in a crisis respite setting. Our crisis respite service offers support and is staffed 24/7. Working in respite some of your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Medication support

  • Supporting people regain their mental health and independence.

  • Housekeeping to a high standard

  • Comprehensive note taking and handovers

  • Cooking healthy inviting meals

  • Advocating for the people we support 

Roles Available:

Role 1 - Awake Only Tuesday-Thursday 11:00pm-07:30am

Role 2 - PM Friday - Monday 03:00pm -11:30pm

Role 3 - AM Friday - Monday 07:00am-03:30pm

The Team
You will be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Wellington Respite Service teams - all with a common purpose to support people experiencing mental illness.

You | Mōu

We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery focused way.

  • You must hold a current full driver’s licence

  • Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.

  • Do you hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or are currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent? Please note, all working on a respite service will require the above qualification.
