Want to make a difference? Live Life Disability Support provides support to disabled people to live life out and about across the Nelson Marlborough region.

You’ll be helping people to join in community activities and events, drive people to appointments and catch-ups, as well as supporting people with their personal care and household jobs.

Knowing you’re making a positive impact in someone’s life can truly have the same effect on your own. 

In addition to the above:

  • You can work in the way that works best for you - whether that’s full-time or part-time, or morning, afternoon/evening, overnight or casual shifts.

  • You’ll be supported to achieve your Levels 2, 3 and 4 Health and Wellbeing Certificate.

Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

We have a variety of positions available working a range of shifts and hours including weekends. You will be asked to indicate your availability and preferences on your application form. 

Your hourly rate will be $24.41 to $30.17 an hour, dependent upon your qualifications as recognised under the Care and Support Workers (Pay Equity) Settlement Act 2017. Sleepovers (10.00PM to 7.00AM) are paid at the adult minimum wage rate.

Applicants must have a full NZ Drivers Licence and be eligible to work in NZ., or hold a valid visa at the time of applying.

Appointment and ongoing employment will be conditional upon criminal record/police checks - you must declare any convictions and/or pending charges on your application form. This will include checks under the Children Act 2014.
