Āu Mahi - What you will do

We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated specialist to join our Admission team in the Manawatū! If you thrive on precision, have a positive team spirit, an analytical way of thinking, and have worked within a large or highly regulated environment, then this role is for you.

You will be responsible for assessing and delivering admission application outcomes for both domestic and international students. You will have an eye for detail, a problem-solving mindset, and an emphasis on treating every application with the level of urgency required thereby, assisting the University's growth goals.

As a dynamic professional in the Student Registry Palmerston North team, you will play a pivotal role behind the scenes, supporting our students and stakeholders with a superior service mindset by providing admission and/or enrolment assessment.

To excel in this role, you will demonstrate a commitment to tangata whenuatanga and Te Tiriti o Waitangi partnership in Aotearoa; understand and recognise the status of tangata whenua in Aotearoa and an ability to practise and develop the use of te reo and tikanga Māori.

We are seeking people who are mana-enhancing, tauira focused and place manaaki at the forefront of the mahi. Previous experience in a tertiary setting in either admission or enrolment would be advantageous.

Salary range

The salary band for this position is $56,622 - $80,006 NZD (2024), depending on skills and experience.
