Starting salary: $118,052 - $138,158 + superannuation

The role | Te tūnga
This role is fixed term, based in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch. Reporting to the Senior Manager Collections Design your focus is in the new Optimisation, Performance and Development unit. You'll have input for designing how Collection Operations will operate to achieve Future Census objectives and representing Collection Operations on key strategic projects that have been prioritised by Stats NZ.
This role would suit someone who can:
Lead and represent Collection Operations on the Future Census design project, including Collections focused and wider Stats NZ project work.
Lead and support the Collections Design team, focused on the design of the collection of data for Future Census.
Transform the team's products, services, and insights to align with Stats NZ strategy and direction.
Provide coaching and development to the team, to support growth within their roles and foster a strong, inclusive culture across the team.
Contribute to and implement the direction of Collection Operations to achieve the best possible outcomes for our kaimahi and respondents.
Demonstrate experience in a collections and/or service delivery environment.
Understand the development and delivery of analytical products and services.
Understand project or process design principles.
Be an effective coach and create/engage with opportunities to develop your team members.
Build and maintain strong links with internal customers within Collection Operations and wider Stats NZ.
Demonstrate a willingness to upskill and increase your cultural capability.
