Ngā kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

You will provide in-house graphic design and expertise as a member of our high performing Marketing team, based at the University’s beautiful Hillcrest Campus. As a member of our creative team you will ensure our brand standards remain high, developing effective designs for print, digital and advertising.

Salary will be in the range of $96,956 to $100,000 (prorated) per year based on skills, knowledge and experience. This role is a fixed term, full- time role (37.5 hours a week) to cover a period of maternity leave from 18 November 2024 until 29 September 2025.

Ko wai koe? – Who are you?

As an experienced senior graphic designer you love to create beautiful designs that are fit for purpose. You are able to work within brand guidelines while finding new creative directions to explore. You are comfortable juggling multiple projects while engaging with a variety of stakeholders.

You will also need:

  • at least five years’ relevant work experience

  • extensive knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, print production and prepress

  • an online portfolio showcasing your stunning designs, with a clear talent for layout as well as other design skillsets

  • bonus points for animations skills!
