Built over many years, this is a family-owned reputable business with a lot of pride and mana. There is excellent support in place by the Rarotonga based Directors, however there is a requirement for someone to assume the role of a Marketing Coordinator for three businesses.
This is a hands-on role which encompasses a myriad of tasks and challenges on a daily basis, including but not limited to:
Controlling the website, social media and advertising relevant to the businesses
The business currently has three main components. Suppliers of printers and copiers and service agents for these, consumer electronics retailer and service centre. eg Apple, Samsung, Sony and other recognised brands.
The key purpose of this position is to ensure that the marketing function of the businesses operates efficiently and effectively. Working with management, personnel and other stakeholders and suppliers to ensure a smooth function that aligns with company goals and strategies.
Key requirements include the following:
Some form of marketing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
Minimum of three to five years of marketing experience
Excellent time management skills with a very systematic approach to your work
Computer savvy - most systems are software driven and the ability to use them will be crucial to achieving your goals
Practical knowledge of social media marketing
Display great marketing skills to set and design strategies to achieve targets
Meet all marketing requirements and deadlines for the three businesses
Candidates who have retail, or electronics or printers/copiers industry experience would be highly regarded.
Salary - $42K circa
Performance bonus - on achieving certain KPI's
