Our Māori Student Support Centre is excited to announce the newly created leadership role of Te Poutaki Māori | Māori Centre Manager. Te Poutaki Māori manages and leads the Māori Student Support Centre with strategic and operational engagement to increase tauira Māori participation and success at Waipapa Taumata Rau.

As a key role within our newly established Community Engagement and Partnerships team, you will be responsible for co-designing, developing and implementing unique content that nurtures meaningful engagement and collaboration with Pacific communities and stakeholders.

As a Speech Language Therapist, you will play a critical role in our region’s multidisciplinary Learning Support teams. We are charged with leading the education sector in ensuring that children and young people with additional learning needs are supported to achieve their full potential through education.

Learning Support is a critical part of the Te Mahau in the Ministry. The purpose of the Speech Language Therapist is to provide effective, efficient, and equitable speech and language therapy services in accordance with the goals, objectives, and policies of the Ministry of Education.

Learning Support is a critical part of the Te Mahau | Te Tai Runga (South) Group in the Ministry. We ensure that children and young people with additional learning needs are supported to achieve their full potential through education. As a Special Education Adviser, you will play a critical role in our region's Learning Support team.

Opportunities exist for passionate and enthusiastic kaiako who have a proven background in supporting ākonga. We are looking for an experienced and successful kaiako to teach courses in our Foundation Pathway Programmes, including our Foundation Māori Culture course. The ideal teacher will be a Te Tiriti-practitioner with an understanding of senior secondary school and foundation-level education in Aotearoa, as well as an interest in curriculum development, promoting and sustaining success, and e-learning.

At Te Tāhuhu o te Mātauranga, we work to provide services and support nationally, regionally and locally to the education sector, and in some cases, directly to ākonga and whanau. This is a permanent, full time position based in our Greymouth Office. As a Psychologist you will play a critical role in our region's Learning Support team 

Learning Support is a critical part of the Sector Enablement and Support Group in the Ministry. We are charged with leading the education sector in ensuring that children and young people with additional learning needs are supported to achieve their full potential through education. As a Special Education Adviser, you will play a critical role in our region's Learning Support team.

ESWs form an important part of the Early Intervention Team supporting the education of young children with special educational needs. They are employed by the Early Intervention Service to work in Early Childhood Care & Education Centres.

This is an opportunity to work closely with teachers and kaiako to assist with the design of engaging and responsive curriculum learning that ensures national learning priorities are experienced by every ākonga or learner.

We have an opportunity for a permanent, full-time Senior Education Adviser, Early Learning at our Maungawhau | Mt Eden Office. 

The Senior Education Adviser, Early Learning works with early learning services across the region to implement the regulatory framework for Early Learning and provide advice and guidance to the early learning sector to ensure quality provision. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Office of Pacific Advancement (OPA) for an energetic and self-motivated person to collaborate with our team and the wider university to deliver high-quality and culturally affirming advisory support for our Pacific students. Further, you will contribute to the activation and maintenance of OPA's Vā Pasifika student spaces to increase the visibility of OPA's activities and services for Pacific students.
