We have two exciting opportunities to join our team as an Operations Specialist in the Henderson-Massey Local Board. Our libraries are open 7 days a week so flexibility around working days is required along with flexibility to work across the libraries within the local board at times.
 

Positions available:

  1. 24 hours per week, based at Te Atatū Community Hub (Thursday – Saturday, Monday – including late night Thursday)

  2. 38 hours per week, based at Waitakere Central Library (Henderson) (Sunday to Thursday – including occasional Thursday late nights on rotation)

This is an opportunity for you to develop your supervisory experience, as a senior member of our Operations teams.
 

These are hands-on, varied roles, supporting the day to day running of either the Waitakere Central Library or Te Atatū Community Hub.
 

On any given day you will be responsible for coordinating staff and frontline processes, managing library, council and venue hire & booking services, handling a variety of customer queries, problem solving and de-escalating any issues that arise.
