Mana Mahi are honoured to tautoko Pūrangakura in recruiting a Pou Āwhina Aronui /Personal Assistant to support their extraordinary Pou Whakarae (Director).

Te tūranga / About the role
This is a dynamic Pou Āwhina Aronui role, where you will provide crucial support to our Pou Whakarae. Your responsibilities will span both professional and personal realms, including managing the Pou Whakarae research activities, coordinating daily mahi, and assisting with personal errands. This includes coordinating household activities and supporting with tamariki and mokopuna.

He kōrero mōu ake / About you
To excel in this role, you will ideally have experience as an EA/PA as well as
● A full and clean driver’s licence.
● An energetic and self-motivated attitude.
● The ability to manage and prioritise diverse tasks efficiently.

You will be supporting an influential wāhine toa, who is leading kaupapa Māori research with our communities to seek innovative initiatives. Your role will be integral in ensuring the Pou Whakarae can focus on leading this transformative work.

Ngā haepapa / Responsibilities
● Administrative Support: Managing the Pou Whakarae inbox and calendar,
scheduling hui, taking minutes and preparing meeting agendas.
● Personal Assistance: Assisting the Pou Whakarae with personal errands and coordinating household activities and supporting with tamariki and mokopuna.
 Research Assistance: Supporting research tasks such as referencing, report writing
and gathering research materials
 Event Coordination: Organizing events and ensuring seamless logistics.
 Financial Administration: Handling financial tasks like credit card reconciliations and budget management.
