Starting salary: $63,158 - $73,382 negotiable + superannuation

 The role | Te tūnga

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Enterprise Portfolio Office.  

You will be accountable for supporting the Project Manager with high-quality, timely and efficient project coordination support. This will include activities such as: 

  • project scheduling using Microsoft Project and Azure Dev Ops 

  • issues and risk management 

  • drafting and maintaining project status reports and documentation 

  • organising meetings and taking minutes 

  • onboarding new team members 

  • handling procurement and finance queries 

  • managing monthly financial accruals

You will be highly organised, self -managing, able to work independently and as part of a cross functional team. You will be familiar with project management techniques and frameworks and be comfortable delivering results in a high paced environment.  

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following in your cover letter and CV:  

  • A proven track record of 2+ years in a project coordination role across a range of projects 

  • Your familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile project delivery approaches 

  • Examples of your experience working with managers and people at all levels of an organisation 

  • Information about your knowledge and experience, or desire to learn and build knowledge and experience of Te Tiriti, Tikanga, Te Reo and Te Ao Māori, and engagement with Māori. 

  • Examples of where you've demonstrated or encouraged diversity and inclusion in and/or outside of work.
